We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Head of Engineering to join our team in Herzliya, Israel.

Job Description:

As the Head of Engineering, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire engineering team, ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality software solutions, and driving the technical vision and strategy of the company. You will work closely with other departments, including product, sales, and customer success, to align engineering goals with the overall business objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of engineers, including DevOps, data scientists, full-stack engineers, backend and algorithm engineers
• Define and implement the engineering strategy, ensuring alignment with the company's mission and vision
• Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of scalable, reliable, and secure software solutions
• Ensure the highest standards of software quality, security, and performance
• Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the engineering team
• Collaborate with product management to prioritize and plan product features and releases
• Drive the adoption of best practices in software development, including Agile methodologies, CI/CD, and DevOps
• Manage the engineering budget, resources, and timelines to ensure timely delivery of projects
• Represent the engineering team in executive meetings and provide technical insights and recommendations

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience in software engineering roles, with at least 6 years in a leadership position
• BS/MS degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent industry experience
• Proven track record of leading and mentoring engineering teams
• Strong experience with cloud platforms (preferably AWS)
• Expertise in software architecture, design patterns, and best practices
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or JavaScript
• Experience with serverless and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation)
• Strong understanding of networking concepts, security best practices, and compliance frameworks (such as: SOC2, HIPAA, GDPR, ISO)
• Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Fluent written and verbal English skills

It will be great if you have:

• Experience with microservices architectures
• Knowledge of database administration (MongoDB, PostgreSQL)
• Familiarity with AI/ML and Constraint Programming based models deployment workflows
• Experience with serverless technologies (e.g., AWS Lambda)
• Certifications in cloud platforms, security or relevant technologies
• Experience with healthcare compliances such as HIPAA
• Experience with EHR system integrations such as Epic, Cerner, Meditech, Allscript, etc.
