Who we seek:

We’re looking for a Software Engineer Student for our Data Science team, reporting to the VP Data Science and Analytics. Our Data Science team is based in the heart of Tel Aviv and deals with huge-scale security and privacy-related ML challenges. As a Software Engineer Student, you’ll be part of a team responsible for developing the overall infrastructure of BigID’s machine learning services including machine learning model development and data processing.

What you’ll do:

• Write high-quality code, covered by solid unit and integration tests
• Get involved in security-related NLP challenges faced by our customers, who are among the most successful enterprises in the world
• Help in building scalable production-grade services and machine learning models that derive insights out of huge-scale databases
  
  

What you’ll bring:

• Knowledge of (and preferably experience in) Python, Java, and JS programming languages
• Strong organizational skills, self-motivation, and a collaborative spirit
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
• Team player, willing to work in a dynamic startup environment
• At least 2 semesters left for graduation in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent

• Experience with distributed architecture, microservices, message queues, and REST APIs
• Knowledge in container technology (Docker, K8s) and cloud services (IaaS, PaaS)
• Experience in Agile development
