As an Engineering Manager at Justt, you will lead a team of software engineers specializing in data processing and integrations. You will oversee the development and deployment of systems handling large-scale datasets, ensuring seamless integration with payment platforms. Collaborating with product managers and data scientists, you will define project requirements and implement best practices in software development. Your role involves driving technical innovation, managing project timelines, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of software engineers specializing in data processing and system integrations.
• Oversee the design, development, and deployment of data processing systems that handle large-scale, complex datasets.
• Ensure seamless integration of our platform with various payment systems and platforms.
• Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and other stakeholders to define project requirements and deliverables.
• Implement best practices in software development, including code reviews, testing, and continuous integration.
• Drive technical innovation to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our chargeback resolution technology.
• Manage project timelines, resource allocation, and team performance to ensure successful project delivery.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the engineering team.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of proven experience as an Engineering Manager in a startup environment or similar role, with multiple successful tenures.
• Strong expertise in data processing, ETL pipelines, and data integration.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Node and Python.
• Experience with big data technologies, event driven distributed systems and cloud platforms (Working on AWS is a must).
• Solid understanding of database systems, both SQL and NoSQL.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a strategic mindset.
• Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and present ideas clearly.
• Experience in the fintech industry is a plus.
