The RoleBuild is the most powerful and rich cost optimization engine that combines FinOps specialty and data modeling. Unleash the power of our extensive cloud data for various use cases.

• Design, build, and maintain data models that accurately represent cloud environments and financial operations
• Develop and implement data transformation processes to ensure data is clean, accurate, and ready for analysis, using SQL and dbt (data build tool)
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations that provide visibility into cloud costs, usage, and savings opportunities
• Perform in-depth analysis of cloud spending patterns and identify trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement
• Communicate findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Work closely with data engineers, analysts, and other team members to ensure data consistency and reliability across the platform
• Support the development of new product features by providing the necessary data insights and analytics
• Assist in the implementation of cost optimization tools and solutions within the platform
• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in FinOps, cloud cost management, and analytics engineering.

The role is impact-oriented - meaning a very short feedback loop from the research table to the actual value in the customer’s environment.

RequirementsHard Skills

• In short - FinOps, Big Data, Dashboarding
• Proficiency in cloud technologies, including AWS, Azure, and GCP
• Extensive knowledge of cloud cost optimization (FinOps)
• Proficiency in big data analytics (SQL)
• Hands-on experience in BI/analytics platforms, building insightful customer-facing dashboards
