Description
The PE will be joining at a time when we are trying to quickly close on our existing 4th generation chip design while leverage much of our existing infrastructure. However, our 5th generation chip design is expected to re-architect much of the SOC and will be an opportunity for the PE to likewise provide input on and re-architect our compute environment and help invent additional system to ensure high quality throughout the course of this and future projects. Additionally, this PE could help re-envision our Address Map methodology, allowing experiments and changes to be qualified more easily and allowing the entire team to run more efficiently.
While we are in our 4th generation of Machine Learning Accelerators, the AI forefront is still “Day One” and ever-evolving, with our solutions truly giving the customer much better price/performance compared to other accelerated instances.
The successful Principal Frontend Methodology Engineer will be a force multiplier for the team, delivering flows and automation that will make our team of ~40 engineers run more efficiently in their daily activities. This includes increased merge velocity to deliver changes more quickly, automated pipelines to free engineers from manual work, and a higher quality bar to prevent bugs from escaping through multiple levels into silicon.
