R&D Team Leader

Job Description:

As the R&D Team Leader, you will be responsible for the hands-on management of our company’s R&D team. Your key responsibilities will include the development and enhancement of our main gaming platform, motion detection algorithms, analytics, product control, and remote management systems. Additionally, you will support the development of our future product line. 

This role combines development and management. It demands active involvement in Android development, strategic planning, and innovative problem-solving.

Requirements:

• B.Sc/M.Sc in Computer Science or related field
• 5+ years of experience in managing R&D teams in small to medium-sized startups
• Proven experience in system design and SW architecture design, including the ability to create scalable, reliable, and maintainable software solutions
• Proficiency in spoken English (collaboration with non-Hebrew speaking colleagues)

Android development 4+ years of in-depth experience

• Kotlin proficiency is a must (if only Java experience - we can discuss it)
• extensive knowledge of low-level Android system components
• proficiency in modern Android architecture components
• Jetpack Compose

Nice to have but not must:

• custom ROM development, integration of native code using the JNI framework
• basic Computer Vision / ML understanding for collaboration with CV/ML engineer
