Position

Title: Team Lead, Software Engineering

Location: Hod Hasharon, Israel (hybrid working)

We are looking for a passionate and talented leader to shape and guide a new development team working on Riverbed’s Aternity product.

In this role, you will help build and lead a team of full-stack engineers focused on reimagining and innovating Riverbed Aternity product experiences using cutting-edge technologies running in the cloud and on customer devices.

As a people-focused technical leader, you will provide mentorship and coaching while being hands-on in the development. Your impact will be significant, driving technical guidance, managing execution, ensuring quality, and fostering a 'can-do' team culture. You will also actively contribute to architecture, design, implementation, and testing.

What You Will Do

  • Technical leadership of 2-4 team members.
  • Hands-on development.
  • Build and implement culture within the team - define the team’s ‘can-do’ attitude, partnerships, and spirit culture within team growth.
  • Manage & lead the execution of the team, plans, risk mitigation, processes, and agile methodologies.
  • Own architecture and system design of big data performance, scalability and high availability requirements.
  • Own quality & automation development by the team.
  • Working closely with colleague team leaders and additional stakeholders.
  • Define best practices and strategies regarding application deployment and infrastructure maintenance.
  • Stay current with new technologies, evaluating good fit for our technological strategy.

What Makes You An Ideal Candidate

  • Experience leading R&D teams.
  • Strong development skills in Object Oriented languages
  • Strong development skills in Web technologies and frameworks.
  • 5+ years of meaningful experience with backend (Java)
  • 5+ years of meaningful experience with frontend (Angular/React, Typescript, HTML, SCSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript) development.
  • Experience with Cloud, Managed services, AWS/Azure, and SaaS technologies
  • Excellent troubleshooting, problem solving, investigation skills, solid experience in production incidents resolution
  • Experience with Scala/Python - a plus.
  • Experience in Windows desktop apps development (C#) - a plus.
  • Passionate about leadership, ‘can-do’ attitude, motivational, problem solver, proactive and curious.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, lead, coach & collaborate with different stakeholders.
