Role Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced DevOps Engineer, with a specialization in Jenkins Shared Libraries and Groovy pipelines, to join our dynamic DevOps team.

As a key contributor, you will report to the Director of Core Software, Broadband business unit.

Location

Hybrid role – working at least three days a week from our offices in Caesarea.

What You Will Be Doing

Have you ever wanted to experience working in a Linux oriented environment? Harmonic's core products are built on Debian packages and container images running on Kubernetes.

The team manages a robust framework for handling the developer experience and CI automation velocity using Jenkins Shared Libraries and Groovy pipelines.

The Role Includes

• Developing and maintaining tools to support Containers and Debian package building frameworks.
• Operating and troubleshooting our automated build system.
• Providing support to development teams and conducting in-depth issue investigations and analysis
  
  

What You Should Have

• 4+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer with orientation to CI/CD, Groovy and Jenkins pipelines
• Advanced Jenkins knowledge, including Groovy pipelines and Jenkins shared libraries.
• Good interpersonal communication skills, ability to work in a team, and independent learning.
• Very good English, both spoken and written.
• Experience with writing tests and test-driven development – advantage
• Experience with “Infrastructure-as-Code" tools and methodology, especially Ansible – advantage
• Familiarity with managing artifacts (Artifactory, Nexus, Docker Hub or equivalent systems) – advantage
