We are looking for an R&D team leader to lead the development work on a core part of our product, As team lead at Mesh, you will lead your team to solve technical challenges and enable them to deliver high-quality software, in a fast-paced, agile environment. Mesh’s platform is used by hundreds of companies, processing billions of dollars monthly, and integrates with complex ERPs and platforms, with thousands of end-users. You will collaborate regularly with other leaders, engineers and product managers to drive the execution and make an impact, while addressing quality, performance and stability. 


What Will You Do:

  • Lead an autonomous, cross-functional agile team of engineers in a dynamic environment.
  • Own end-to-end development of features; from design to production - including monitoring, troubleshooting and maintenance - setting a high bar for quality, stability and performance.
  • Mentor team members technically and professionally by offering constructive and on-going feedback.
  • Serve as a force multiplier for your team by removing roadblocks, identifying and implementing process improvements, and delegating effectively
  • Work closely with product managers through roadmap planning and on-going execution in an agile environment.
  • Be part of the R&D leadership team.
  • Coordinate between the product and your team to scope, estimate, plan, test and deliver end-to-end scalable features.
  • Take a key role in the team’s roadmap planning - carefully and quickly evaluating high-level requirements from taking technical considerations into account to decision-making, prioritization and alignment with company-level and engineering objectives.
  • Be hands-on, contributing to the code and troubleshooting challenges.


What Should You Have:

  • 7+ years of experience in software development.
  • At least 2 years of leadership experience, preferably in a startup environment.
  • An Action-oriented and and can-do approach towards challenges, with the ability to take hands-on responsibilities to ensure deliverables are met on time.
  • Experienced with object-oriented concepts and design patterns.
  • In depth knowledge of industry standard best practices, development lifecycle processes and methodologies. Experience using agile methodology is a plus.
  • Fluent in English with excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
  • Previous experience in a startup environment - a must
