About the Role:


As a Senior R&D Manager, you will lead research and development initiatives to maintain our competitive edge. You’ll oversee the creation and implementation of cutting-edge technologies and features, ensuring they meet the highest standards. This role involves working closely with various teams to seamlessly integrate new solutions into our mobile gaming application. You’ll also implement efficient QA processes to ensure the reliability and performance of our products.


Responsibilities:


Lead, manage, and grow the R&D team, delivering high-impact projects and innovative gaming solutions.

Oversee the research, design, and development of new game features and technologies.

Collaborate with product managers, designers, and developers to bring new concepts from ideation to production.

Ensure all R&D projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.

Foster a culture of creativity, innovation, and continuous improvement within the R&D team.

Evaluate and integrate new tools and technologies to enhance the app’s capabilities.

Implement and oversee comprehensive QA processes to ensure the highest standards of product quality and reliability.

Conduct regular code reviews, testing, and debugging to maintain the integrity of our gaming platform.


Requirements:


Minimum of 5 years of experience in R&D or a related field within the gaming industry, with at least 3 years in a leadership role (proven).

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Game Development, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Strong technical background with proficiency in game development and software engineering.

Experience with modern game engines (e.g., Unity) and development tools and programming languages such as C++, C#, or Java. 

Experience with working at scale (min. 5000 users per day)

Experience in implementing and managing QA processes, including automated and manual testing.

Strong leadership, communication, project management, analytical, and problem-solving skills, alongside the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Pet lover - Has/had a dog/cat and/or has been involved with animal shelters.
