Position Overview

Autodesk is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Agile development team!

Reporting to the Senior Manager of Engineering, you will be part of the team responsible for building foundational services and contributing to developing Autodesk’s next generation of Autodesk Construction Cloud Platform, which is used with mobile, web applications, and cloud services.

In this hybrid role, you will work on cutting-edge technologies.

Responsibilities

• You will work as a member of a self-organized agile team that builds, owns, and runs the service.
• You will contribute to all aspects of service development using React and Node.js.
• Work closely with product management to understand and translate requirements into elegant implementations.

Minimum Qualification

• BS in Computer Science or related technical field
• 5-7 years and above of experience in Web development
• Experience with programming languages such as Node.JS, AWS
• Experience in building services with high performance and scale
• Solid understanding of software design and architectural patterns
• Committed to quality, including security and performance
• strong verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to pick up new languages, tools, and design patterns as needed
