Front Story is launching an exciting new company and seeking key talent for our innovative startup. We are looking for a brilliant, highly capable senior Android engineer to lead the development of our main user-facing product. You will be responsible for creating a top-tier app from scratch in a fast-paced environment. This hands-on lead role is part of the core founding team, starting as a solo Android expert and eventually building and managing the mobile team.
Responsibilities:
Design, build, test, and maintain native Android applications.
Create Gradle builds and full CI/CD pipelines.
Contribute effectively within the scrum team.
Continuously innovate by proposing technical solutions to our business needs.
Design app observability to enhance app UX and overall product quality.
Requirements:
4+ years of experience developing production-grade native Android applications using Kotlin.
Good understanding and knowledge of Android development best practices, Kotlin, coroutines, and Jetpack Compose.
Strong grasp of clean code, SOLID principles, testing, and MVC/MVVM patterns.
Good knowledge of Android’s features and restrictions.
