Job Description

• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Assembler 370 in Z/OS (Mainframe) code, for the platforms.
• With strong debugging skills, identify bugs and devise solutions to found problems.
• Works with other developers and business teams in coordinating best possible solutions.
• Flexible! As part of a small team will have the opportunity to work on many different things.

Requirements

• Excellent experience and working knowledge Assembler 370 in Z/OS (Mainframe) and VM technologies - Must.
• B.E/B.Tech in Computer Science/Software Engineering or equivalent.
• More than 5+ years of hands-on experience with software development .
• Great team player, innovator at heart with an excellent interpersonal skill who is passionate about technology, have a strong interest in the learning latest technologies.
• Good experience and implementation knowledge on C, Rexx, JCL, procedures .
• Good experience on CICS, IMS, MQ, TCP/IP, TSO, DB2, VSAM .
• Experience in interfacing with Web/.Net front end systems .
• Hands on experience with Windows/Unix/AIX OS platforms .
• In depth understanding of various development processes, standards, and the ability to present their potential impact - Must.
• Demonstrated ability to achieve stretch goals .
• Experience working in an Agile environment - Advantage.
• Agile / SCRUM Certification - Advantage.
• Good problem solver. Can find answers and extend their own knowledge base as needed .
• Understanding of source control systems and practices .
