They are hardworking, young, connected adults that are invisible to the traditional banking system. Fido is changing that. What you will do

• Develop and maintain backend services.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs for various financial products.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance service performance and scalability.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of the development process.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues in a distributed microservices environment.

Who you are

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.
• At least 2 years of experience as a Software Engineer, working as part of an engineering team.
• Experience with backend programming languages such as Python, Node.js, or Go.
• Experience with AWS services (Lambda, S3, SQS, SNS).
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design and development.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Advantage - Experience with CI/CD tools and infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Advantage - Familiarity with Kubernetes and microservices architecture.
• Advantage - Experience with machine learning models and data-driven decision-making.
