As a Senior Mobile Developer at Motiv8AI, you will be leading the development of both Android and iOS sides of our product, play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining our mobile applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless and efficient mobile solutions. Our ideal candidate will be experienced in developing SDK and perfecting the development processes, solving complex problems and introducing new approaches, curious, fast learning and totally hands-on. As an integral member of our startup, you will have the unique opportunity to shape the direction of our technology and drive innovation in this exciting field.

Our offices located in Ramat Gan (Diamond District), Israel, near public transport and rail station.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain advanced mobile SDK and applications for the Android and iOS platforms using Kotlin, Java, ObjectivC and Swift.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.
• Mentor and guide junior developers, providing technical expertise and support.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our applications remain current and competitive.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain a high standard of code quality.
• Implement and support the clients on site.

Requirements

• BSC in Computer Science or related fields.
• At least 6 years of hands-on experience with both Android Native Applications and iOS development.
• Minimum of 3 years proven experience with Java/Kotlin and Swift/ObjectiveC.
• Strong understanding of the multithreading, networking, security, android filesystem, and data storage.
• Strong understanding of the Android SDK stands, backward-compatible versions of Android framework and AndroidX.
• Experience with SDK / Framework development.
• Ability to learn new technologies and tools, large-scale system design.
• Strong understanding of Android user interface guidelines and best practices for both tablets and smartphones.
• Strong understanding of Android Activities, Fragments, Views, BroadcastReceivers, ContentProviders, Services and AppCompat Libraries.
• Strong understanding of the Android Internals.
• Experience with: Multithreading, OO Design patterns, Intents, 3rd party SDKs, dialogs, push notifications
• Experience using Google Play Services SDK.
• Experience with common network protocols.
• Experience with image processing.
• Experience with more programming languages, such as Python.
• Acquaintance with Android CI/CD using Gradle and Maven.
• Experience of maintaining / launching software products.
• At least 1 year experience with software design and architecture.
• Experience with JNI and NDK.
• Tech-lead or managerial experience
• Dependency Injection (Dagger)
