Pelanor is a holistic FinOps platform purpose-built for the modern cloud.

We are seeking a talented FinOps & Solution Architect Lead to join our dynamic team. Reporting directly to the CPO, this role will bridge the gap between our customers and our product. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of FinOps, a hands-on approach, and a passion for working in a startup environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Insights & Enablement: Provide expert insights to customers, create enablement materials, and conduct regular check-ins and reviews to facilitate their FinOps journey.
• Platform Enhancement: Collaborate with internal teams (and be an active contributor!) to define and refine product features, processes, and insights. Ensure our platform continuously delivers exceptional value.
• Content Creation: Develop compelling customer-facing materials, including demos, presentations for conferences, videos, and other media to effectively communicate Pelanor’s value
• Customer Engagement: Work closely with customers and prospects to help them gain maximum value from Pelanor's platform. Build strong relationships, serve as a trusted advisor, and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Thought Leadership: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in FinOps and cloud cost management. Represent Pelanor at industry events and contribute to our thought leadership initiatives.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in FinOps or a related field.
• Familiarity with SQL, Python (or other similar programming languages), and hands-on data analysis skills.
• Strong understanding of cloud cost optimization strategies and best practices.
• Experience with FinOps tools and methodologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proven track record in a customer-facing role.
• Proficiency in creating customer-facing materials and presenting at conferences.
