Piiano provides a privacy Vault as a service. Customers use it to store sensitive information such as credit cards and SSNs (American social security ID). With the increase in customer demand and new customer on-boarding we are looking for an exceptional and passionate SRE to lead this area in Piiano and take responsibility on the SaaS platform. 

You will work on the architecture, design and implementation of an innovative cloud based service and development infrastructure that will serve developers from one side and Security/Privacy officers from the other side. You will touch aspects of multi-tenancy, high availability, agility, security and more. The challenge is to build an efficient, robust and bullet proof solution since our infrastructure powers our customer mission critical services and any minute of downtime is critical. The Vault platform runs in multiple regions and with very strict SLA and reliability requirements.

The ideal candidate could come from an engineering background that gained solid infrastructure experience and wishes to continue writing code as a software engineer in these infrastructure areas. An ideal candidate could also arrive from engineers who started as DevOps, coded a lot and have gravitated throughout the years more towards a software development life cycle.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure development of large and complex software projects at well regarded enterprise companies
• You must be able to code and do it well at the software engineering level. No button clicking operations, everything built as code with high standards and testing.
• Technologies: AWS, K8S and Serverless AWS services and terraform.
• Team player with a startup mindset
