We are seeking a dynamic DevOps Team Lead to join our growing team. In this role, you will lead a diverse team with multiple topics and technologies, and oversee cloud technologies, software life cycle processes, ensure 24/7/365 production reliability and observability. Collaborating within a DevOps environment, you will work closely with software architects, developers, and support engineers to design, implement, and continuously enhance Earnix’s infrastructure.
What you’ll do:
- Lead the DevOps team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
- Manage and mentor team members, ensuring their professional growth and development.
- Develop and implement team goals, objectives, and KPIs.
- Ensure effective communication and collaboration between team members and other departments.
- Manage the maintenance, integration, and adaptation of new cloud technologies.
- Oversee CI/CD processes and tools to streamline development workflows.
- Lead the platform engineering development that empowers developers to manage infrastructure and deployments independently.
- Be responsible for maintaining and developing the observability systems in Earnix (monitoring, and logging).
You’ll do it using:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps roles with minimum of 2 years of management experience.
- Strong management and leadership skills, with a proven track record of leading and developing high-performing teams.
- Technology savvy; Proficiency in cloud-native services and cloud networking, preferably on AWS.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and orchestration tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Deep understanding of containers (e.g., Docker) and container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes).
- Strong coding skills in Python and/or Bash.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Familiarity with software life cycle processes, CI/CD, monitoring, logging, and automation tools (e.g., Jenkins).
- Proficiency in observability tools such as: Prometheus, Grafana, Thanos, Splunk
