Job Summary:

Payments Technologies, A profitable public fintech company operating in the payments and credit sector is seeking a highly skilled and experienced FS Engineer Developer to join our R&D team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading, developing, maintaining, and pushing forward both new and existing code. This role requires a deep understanding of software architecture and development practices to ensure the delivery of high-quality, scalable solutions. The candidate will be involved in designing and implementing APIs and microservices to support high-scale applications, working with databases such as MySQL and MongoDB, and leading the team to improve overall quality through their extensive experience and knowledge in software architecture and development. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Lead the development and maintenance of both new and existing code, primarily using PHP. 
• Develop APIs and microservices to support high-scale applications. 
• Work with MySQL and MongoDB databases to design, develop, and maintain data structures and optimize database performance. 
• Lead and mentor the development team, leveraging your experience to improve code quality and development practices. 
• Collaborate with the R&D team to design and implement new features and improvements. 
• Ensure the quality and performance of the codebase through rigorous code reviews and testing. 
• Troubleshoot and debug issues as they arise, providing timely resolutions. 
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our solutions remain current and competitive. 

Required Qualifications: 

• Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Full Stack Developer with a strong focus on PHP. 
• Experience with React and Node.js. 
• Expertise in developing APIs and microservices. 
• Experience working with MySQL and MongoDB databases. 
• Demonstrated experience in leading and mentoring a development team. 
• Strong understanding of high-scale application support. 
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. 
• Strong communication and teamwork skills. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Experience with other programming languages and technologies is a plus. 
• Knowledge of cloud services and deployment.
