Communix is the biggest up and coming social gaming start-up and we're looking for a talented Senior Data Engineer to join us.

Responsibilities:

• Design, Develop and Operate the data pipelines required for optimal ETL, from a wide variety of data sources.
• Work closely with R&D and Marketing teams on the design and implementation of data solutions. .
• Provide data solutions for the business analysts.
• Build Communix’s Data warehouse
  
  

Requirements:

• 3+ years experience as a Data Engineer.
• 2+ years of proven experience with Python and orchestration tools, such as Airflow.
• Very high level of SQL.
• Experience with Columnar databases: BigQuery/Redshift/Vertica
• Familiarity with data visualisation tools such as Tableau and Power BI
• Quick, self-learning and good problem-solving capabilities.
• Passion for gaming and a deep understanding of the gaming industry and player behaviour is a plus.

• B.A./B.Sc. in industrial/information systems engineering, computer science, or equivalent - Advantage.
• Gaming Experience - Advantage.
• Love of Poker - Big Advantage.
• Understanding of distributed data processing architecture and tools such as Kafka and Spark
• Experience in building and maintaining data warehouse modelling.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with GCP services
