About the team:

The core of Salt lies a high-performance data processing challenge: managing billions of customer requests daily. The Edge team tackles this by building, deploying, and monitoring the infrastructure required to collect and process this massive traffic volume efficiently. Their expertise ensures the system can handle the diverse infrastructure variations across our customer base.

Who Are You?

• 5+ years of Software Engineering experience
• Experience with at least 2 of the programming languages:
• Go (big advantage) / Scala / Java / Kotlin / C# / C++
• Passionate and experienced in implementing Microservice patterns in a cloud-native environment
• Dynamic, self-directed and capable of absorbing new information quickly
• Experience with Kubernetes and writing helm charts
• Experience with Linux
• Experience with Cloud - AWS / Azure / GCP

Preferred (but not mandatory) experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent), or relevant military background
• Platform / DevOps / Leadership positions in the past
• Experience with Linux Networking tools (iptables / tcpdump)
• Experience with GitOps (Argo / Flux / etc.)
