As a senior backend engineer at Pelanor, you will shape and build our cutting-edge cloud cost management and optimization platform. If you have a passion for building and owning robust analytical systems, we’d love to hear from you!

You’ll be…

• Designing and implementing an (in-memory!) analytics engine that ingests billions of data points a day.
• Tackling a multitude of product challenges, from real-time alerts to generating actionable insights.
• Creating infrastructure for scaling our data sources and 3rd party integrations.
• Building excellent tooling for Pelanor's researchers.

You have...

• At least 5 years of experience in backend development with strictly typed languages (Rust, C/C++, Go, etc.)
• Strong “can do” problem-solving approach and technical leadership skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.

Ideally, you also have...

• Experience with database or systems programming.
• Hands-on experience with classical algorithms.
• Experience in building large-scale SaaS applications.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies and platforms.
