Key responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain complex backend systems using Python & Kotlin(Java)

You will participate in Product Decisions and help design Alfabet's core product.

Collaborate with other engineers to create and maintain an efficient and reliable backend architecture

Develop and maintain APIs, databases, and other services

Integrate systems with third-party services and APIs

Develop and maintain automated tests for backend systems

Troubleshoot and debug issues

Requirements:

5+ years of experience in up to date core backend development Kotlin \ Java\ C#\

Python with a focus on performance-driven techniques and optimization.

Experience building and integrating with REST APIs and SaaS applications.

Knowledge, and understanding of Cloud systems like AWS.

Proven experience with Message Queues such as Kafka \ RabbitMQ

Experience working with a variety of DB- Relational and No-SQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redis etc)

Experience in Cloud-Native environment - Microservices, Docker, Kubernetes.

Understanding of E2E systems architectures

Experience working in an agile and dynamic environment.

Positive and proactive attitude.

Background from a Technology unit

• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field
