Description

We are looking for an experienced software engineer with a deep familiarity of the client-side world to join our Platform group in TLV.

As a platform developer at Fiverr you'll work on infrastructure projects and core services, streamlining developer experience and velocity, while improving the stability and performance of our system.

WHAT AM I GOING TO DO?

• Build and maintain libraries and frameworks that are used across our codebase, by all of Fiverr’s FE developers.
• Develop and contribute to our core services.
• Research, design and implement innovative solutions to our complex architectural challenges.
• Deliver custom-tailored solutions to improve developer productivity and velocity.
• Provide technical guidance and support to our developers, encouraging adoption of best practices.
  
  

Requirements

Minimum Requirements

• 5+ years of Javascript experience, including writing in ES6 or later and working with native browser APIs.
• 3+ years of experience with Node.js.
• Experience working with large-scale systems.
• Experience with CI/CD technologies and build libraries (webpack, babel, browserify, etc.).
• Experience with testing frameworks and test-driven development.
• Fluent English.
  
  

Preferred Requirements

• B.Sc in Computer Science, or equivalent education.
• Experience with a major JavaScript framework (e.g. React, Angular, or Vue.js).
• Experience with designing and implementing a widely-used API (service, library, framework, etc.).
• Experience working with databases.
• Hands-on experience with cloud-based service providers (AWS, Google Cloud, etc.).
