We are seeking a passionate Robotics Simulation Engineer to join the R&D team, in our TLV Site.

You will be joining the team responsible for our autonomous systems development. You will take part in all aspects of the process - from customer needs mapping and definition, through algorithms design, prototyping and implementation, to production, continuous deployment and support.

Responsibilities - what you’ll be doing:

• Define requirements and lead the development of a photorealistic physical robotic 3D simulation
• Collaborate with the Software Developers and Hardware Engineers to develop a digital twin of a robotic vehicle
• Incorporate Software-in-the-Loop and Hardware-in-the-Loop methods
• Setup and manage infrastructure for continuous testing of the robotic algorithms
• Examine the models and algorithms, and be part of the efforts for their constant improvement
  
  

Requirements:

Requirements - does this describe you?

• BSc in Mechanical Engineering / Computer Science / SW Engineering / EE or related field
• Passionate about robotics
• In-depth understanding of mechanics and kinematics along with the linear algebra and 3D geometry
• 3+ years' experience in ROS/ROS2 robotics development (C++)
• 3+ years' combined hands-on experience in robotic simulation development using one or several of these: Gazebo/ Nvidia Isaac / VRep/ SimMechanics or similar
• General knowledge of: Automotive systems (powertrain, chassis, etc.) Robotic sensors and components: LIDAR, Cameras, ultrasonic sensors, Motors, Servos, Linear actuators
