Job Description

We’re looking for a talented and experienced leader to join the Identity team at Wix. In this role, you’ll be responsible for leading a team of developers, driving technical decisions, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality software solutions. In your day-to-day, you’ll:

• Lead and mentor a team of talented engineers
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define and prioritize project requirements
• Supervise the development and implementation of scalable, high-performance software solutions
• Ensure that code quality, performance, and security standards are met
• Identify and address any technical challenges and bottlenecks
• Continuously improve development processes and your team’s performance
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• 2+ years experience leading R&D teams
• 5+ years experience working in backend development, with expertise in Java, Scala, or similar languages
• Experience with high-scale, distributed systems and microservice architecture
• Knowledgeable in identity and access management, authentication, and authorization protocols
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills in English and Hebrew
• A track record of driving projects to successful completion

Wix Identity is responsible for identity and access management across Wix - including authentication and authorization of all Wix related identities: users, members, Wix employees, 3rd party devs, etc. We’re a unique mix of a strong product-oriented and core infrastructure group. As the gatekeepers to Wix, we handle some of the highest scale services (over 3 million RPM) and are involved in almost every strategic initiative at Wix. Currently, we’re reinventing our Access Management Domain and writing an open platform for the future. Every line of code we write has an impact on Wix’s bottom line as well as on performance, security, and velocity, so being part of the team implies high levels of responsibility and impact.
