We are looking for a highly motivated and capable Physics Researcher. They will join the research team and be responsible for conceiving, planning, and executing experiments on superconducting qubit platforms to push the envelope of what is possible in the world of quantum control hardware. The work involves working in an experimental setting, conceiving experiments, executing them, and building a software framework to support automated execution of these experiments at scale and in a production environment.

Roles and responsibilities:

  • Conceives POCs and research experiments for future technologies and collaboration with academia and external stakeholders, including the Israeli quantum computing center (IQCC).
  • In charge of conceiving, implementing and analyzing experiments on superconducting qubit platform and other platforms
  • In charge of building an automated software framework that supports running these experiments at scale, in an automated manner and in a production setting

Minimum qualifications:

  • University BSc in EE/physics with high GPA
  • MSc/PhD in physics
  • Contributed to writing and releasing production level code in a team setting
  • Experience with conceiving, performing and analyzing complex physics experiments

Preferred qualifications:

  • PhD in experimental physics in a quantum related domain
  • Experience with RF electronics
  • Managed production level code projects in a customer facing environment
  • Experience with superconducting qubits and transmons
