Job Summary: Senior DevOps / Cloud Architect

We are seeking a Senior DevOps & Cloud Architect to join our R&D development team. In this role you will design and implement scalable, reliable, and secure cloud-based and edge solutions for our applications and systems. You will be working closely with the development teams to architect, deploy, and operate scalable systems and ensure that the technical environment supports the organization's overall operations and development needs.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain the company’s architecture and solutions for cloud and edge applications, deployment, execution and orchestration.
• Lead the design and development of cloud solutions for CI/CD
• Design the overall virtual private cloud (VPC) environment including server instances, storage instances, etc.
• Guide and assist development teams in the design, development, testing, and deployment of secure cloud applications.  
• Monitor application performance and implement necessary changes to optimize costs and performance.
• Test and deploy services and applications.

Requirements:

• 5+ years proven experience in cloud software architecture and cloud software development
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
• Strong understanding of cloud service providers, such as Azure and Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience with serverless architectures, microservices, cloud services and containerization technologies, Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with CI/CD processes and tools like Github and Azure devops. Continuous delivery solutions like Flux.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java, or .NET.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools for continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
