Your Role
The Engineering Team Lead provides leadership to our technical teams. Collaborates across the organization to improve frameworks and internal standards and governing policies and procedures. Trains and mentors direct reports as a hands-on technical leader which requires active involvement in driving all technology initiatives.
Your Opportunity
- Be the full tech owner of your team’s products - lead code reviews, and help maintain a high level of code: Writing clean, high-quality, high-performance, maintainable code
- End-to-end professional responsibility over your team’s Agile development life-cycle
- Growing and mentoring your team members
- Serve as a force multiplier for your team by identifying and implementing process improvements
- Hands-on approach - designing, coding, and delivering features to production
- Developing complex features, end-to-end, including reviewing requirements, providing technical design, leading the execution, and deploying to production
- Participate and lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to decide amongst available technologies
- Manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables
- Take an active role in defining the technical roadmap for your products and setting a vision for each domain for years to come
What You'll Need
- 2+ years of experience in managing/ leading Backend Engineers
- BSc in computer science or equivalent industry experience
- 6+ years experience in software engineering in a SaaS Company
- Great people management & communication skills
- Extensive professional experience with at least one high-level backend language (Python, Node.js, Java, C#, Go)
- Enthusiastic about code quality, architecture, design, testing, and performance
- Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work
- Expertise in Object-Oriented Design, Database Design, and XML Schema
- Experience with Agile or Scrum software development methodologies
- Experience developing services hosted on AWS, Azure, GCP
- Experience building scalable and high-available distributed services
- English- High-level
And Ideally
- High-level knowledge of C#, .Net Core
- Prior experience in a Cyber Security Company
