In this role you will develop software for the Lightbits data platform, focusing primarily on the public cloud (currently AWS and Azure), making Lightbits software easy to use and integrate within existing cloud systems.

Lightbits cloud backend software is written primarily in the Go programming language and we develop automatic tests using python to maintain high quality software. We use the agile development methodology with an always green CI and CD.

• Design and develop Lightbits cloud storage management software enabling many interesting features, for controlling, managing and monitoring Lightbits clusters.
• Design and develop automatic tests to maintain a very high quality of deliverables.
• You will be responsible for end to end delivery, from design to testing, including CI/CD processes.

●    5+ years experience designing, implementing, and testing large scale distributed systems - mandatory

●    Highly skilled in either GoLang/ Java/ C - mandatory

●    Strong familiarity with python experience - an advantage

●    5+ years of working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP etc.) - a big advantage

●    Familiarity with storage virtualization and storage protocols - a big advantage

●    Familiarity with developing software for Azure/AWS infrastructure - big advantage

●    Experience with defining architecture for complex solutions - an advantage

●    Familiarity with storage virtualization and storage protocols - an advantage

●    Working in agile methodology - an advantage

●    Knowledge of Kubernetes and containers - nice to have

●    Knowledge of openstack - nice to have

●    Fullstack development experience - nice to have
