We are seeking a skilled and tech-savvy Platform Team Leader to lead our international team of software developers.. The ideal candidate should have at least 6 years of experience in both back-end and front-end development, with expertise in cloud technologies, microservices, React, and Node.js. As a Team Leader, your primary role will be to manage the creation of top-notch software solutions that cater to our clients' needs and exceed their expectations.

A day in your life

• Lead and mentor a team of software engineers in IL and IN, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous learning
• Collaborate closely with Product, UX & Design, and other R&D teams to deliver cohesive and innovative software solutions
• Assume complete ownership over key areas of our platform, including design, coding, quality control, time estimations, deployment to production, and monitoring
• Advocate for and implement engineering best practices to ensure our code meets the highest quality standards
• Manage the full lifecycle of services, driving technical innovation within the team and the wider R&D department

What it takes to succeed

• 3+ years of experience as an R&D Team Leader managing engineers
• A minimum of 6 years as a Software Engineer, specializing in web application development
• Solid understanding and practice of Agile methodologies, preferably Scrum
• Hands-on experience with cutting-edge server-side techniques, including microservices/serverless architecture using Node.js, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, etc.
• Proven experience with a modern front-end framework (React, Angular, Vue.js, etc.)
• Excellent teamwork, interpersonal, and independent working skills
• Fluent in English, both verbal and written communication
• BSc in Computer Science, Mathematics, or equivalent experience
