The Role
Main Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of developers and providing guidance, mentorship, and support to achieve project objectives.
- Develop and implement strategic plans and objectives for the R&D group in alignment with company goals and objectives.
- Drive innovation and excellence in research and development activities, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
- Oversee project planning, execution, and evaluation, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including executives, product managers, and other cross-functional teams, to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment, promoting open communication, teamwork, and professional development opportunities.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in R&D, and apply knowledge to enhance project outcomes and drive innovation.
Key Required Qualifications Skills And Experience
- Master's degree in relative subject required; a doctoral degree (PhD preferred) is highly desirable
- Previous experience as a R&D group leader of a 20+ sized team within a corporate organization environment
- Technical knowledge and ability to perform hands-on tasks with full-stack development
- Proven track record of leadership and team management, with the ability to motivate and inspire others to achieve goals and objectives.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage resources, and drive project success in a fast-paced environment. (Solid experience in agile methodologies- e.g SCRUM).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas and concepts to diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on driving innovation and continuous improvement.
- Experience working in a cross-functional team environment, collaborating with stakeholders from diverse backgrounds and disciplines.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment, with a passion for driving positive change and making a meaningful impact.
- Experience in building great performing, highly scalable teams.
