We are looking for a strong, motivated and highly technical Backend R&D Team Leader.
The team leader will:
Be responsible for creating server-side infrastructures in NodeJS as part of Check Point’s Infinity Portal.
Lead highly skilled and talented people working together in agile development methodologies.
Lead state-of-the-art, high scale cloud services.
Collaborate with other teams in our group, QA engineers, cross-organization functions, and customers.

Key Responsibilities
As the Cloudinfra Back-End Team Lead you will:
- Drive the team's strategic technical direction
- Direct and coordinate activities necessary to understand business objectives
- Translate business objectives into a technical roadmap
- Foster a culture of high standards, growth, and accountability within the team, promoting a shared vision and collective ownership of product and business outcomes.
- Conduct design reviews, service health monitoring processes, and development and deployment processes
- Provide guidance and mentorship to the team
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, customer success, and operations, to align product initiatives with business goals and drive successful go-to-market strategies, product adoption and growth.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of technical leadership/managerial experience
- 5+ years of Hands-On deep experience with AWS and its managed services (including ECS/EKS)
- 5+ years of programming experience using NodeJS and additional high-level programming language
- Experience in PostgreSQL/ElasticSearch/Redis/SQS/Kafka - must
- Experience with micro-services architecture – must
