Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced antibody/protein engineer to facilitate our R&D efforts. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will drive the discovery, design, and optimization of novel immunotherapy modalities using state-of-the-art computational and structural methods.
Key Responsibilities:
· Lead the implementation of cutting-edge structural methods, including molecular dynamics simulations, homology modelling, and docking studies, to design breakthrough drug candidates.
· Harness AI/ML approaches and Antibody/Protein Engineering techniques to discover and optimize therapeutic antibodies.
· Stay abreast of emerging technologies in structural biology and integrate novel approaches into our research programs to maintain our competitive edge.
· Collaborate closely with laboratory personnel and Contract Research Organizations (CRO) to oversee antibody expression, quality control, and efficacy testing.
· Contribute to project planning, scheduling, and cost estimation, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of assigned projects.
· Foster a culture of collaboration and excellence by building effective working relationships with colleagues, management, and external partners.
Qualifications and Experience:
· PhD in Computational Structural Biology, Bioinformatics, or a related field. (Or Ms.C with extensive relevant industrial record)
· Minimum of 3 years' experience in designing or optimizing novel proteins or antibodies.
· Proficiency in molecular modelling, simulation, and visualization packages.
· Expertise in computational biology, including AI/ML approaches and bioinformatics tools (e.g., AlphaFold, ESM, Rosetta), with experience in Linux and cloud environments and proficiency in Python.
· Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, milestone-driven environment.
· Strong oral and written communication skills, with experience presenting scientific data to diverse audiences.
