Principal Software Engineer, enabling us to better fight Fraud and simplify finance..Intuit’s products are used by tens of millions of customers around the world. The customers trust us with their most sensitive financial data, and use our products and tools to manage their finances. As such, it is essential that Intuit protects its customers’ data and assets at the highest degree of security, and specifically against malicious attempts of fraud.

As part of this role, you will take ownership over
platform capabilities that enable seamless payments, enhance risk assessments, and will continuously evolve a case management platform that swiftly resolves any inquiries, disputes, or exceptions that require manual intervention. It’s a unique opportunity to be part of a multi-disciplined team of designers, engineers, data scientists, researchers, and analysts, incubating new trajectory-changing experiences for Intuit.
What you'll bring
- Team player possessing strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Strong mentoring skills. Able to influence and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical people
- Ability to drive velocity in a highly matrixed environment, partnering with numerous stakeholders
- 8+ years of experience developing systems or software for large business environments
- 5+ years of experience designing complex distributed systems, management products, or business applications
- Full-stack development experience with AI technologies and tools; applying it to user experiences or back-end solutions.
- BSc or MSc in Computer Science or related area, or equivalent experience
- Prefers working in a team and collaborates with other cross-functional partners
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, complex technical environment
- Excellent communication skills. Communicates clearly, succinctly, and persuasively to all levels of employees, customers, and management (including executives)
- Self-starter attitude and the ability to make decisions independently
- Experience driving for results across cross-functional teams while maintaining effective working relationships
- Demonstrated ability to work with global teams across time zones
- Vast experience with Java Spring
Preferred Experiences
- Prior working experience in a cloud computing environment like AWS
- Front-end technologies like React
