Au10tix is looking for an R&D Manager to join the R&D team. As a director of applications, you will lead the client/frontend facing offerings of AU10TIX (Web, Android, and IOS) in addition to platform orchestration, 3rd party vendor integrations (including in the AML, PII, KYB, and Digital IDs domains) and more infrastructure microservices.

In this role:

• You will monitor the ongoing daily progress of your team’s PDLC and will contribute to tactical and strategic decisions regarding the PDLC, infrastructure, architecture, DevOps interactions and other processes in the organization.
• You will mentor and assist your team leaders and help them develop their managerial skills, as well as set and measure their goals and annual OKRs.
• Accountable for the technical design and code quality, including performance.
• Define and enforce best practices, processes & tools.
• You will work closely with senior management and cross-functional teams to achieve these goals.

Qualifications

• 8+ years’ experience in designing and building enterprise-grade software.
• Extensive experience in FE development with Node.JS, React
• Knowledge of elastic and SQL databases
• Experience with native mobile development.
• Self-driven and self-motivated, can-do attitude
• Ability to operate in a constantly changing environment, work under pressure, and meet deadline requirements.
• Leadership, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
• Fast learner, Perseverance
• Strong technical background coupled with a deep understanding of product development principles and a customer-centric mindset.
• Proven experience managing a team of 20+ software engineers, with a demonstrated ability to develop and grow individuals.
• Solid experience in running production operations in a SaaS environment with critical uptime requirements, particularly for external customers and partners.
• Strong background in agile development practices.
• A proactive and resourceful approach to problem-solving, with a passion for innovation and driving results.
