As Pazu’s R&D Team Lead, you will spearhead and mentor our development team, each member of which plays a crucial role in shaping and executing our product roadmap. Your leadership will be instrumental in delivering high-quality software solutions within tight schedules navigating a fast-paced environment with agility and precision. You will drive the design, evaluation, and implementation of solutions, setting technical directions and quality standards while actively guiding the team through hands-on involvement.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor the R&D team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions within tight schedules.
- Provide direct oversight and accountability for R&D deliverables, including designing solutions and setting technical directions and quality standards.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define the R&D team growth plan and strategy, enabling the scalability and success of the company’s R&D efforts.
- Provide design and architecture leadership, leveraging your expertise to drive innovation and efficiency within the team.
- Actively participate in defining and implementing career development paths for team leaders and members, fostering a culture of growth and excellence.
- Cultivate a collaborative team environment, instilling inspiration, fun, and cultural alignment within the organization.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in software engineering, computer science, or equivalent.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in managing and scaling software R&D teams.
- At least 3 years of experience with C#
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with cloud services (AWS/GCP/Azure).
- Experience with Unity is a strong advantage.
- Proficiency in application design and development processes.
- Cross-platform expertise across gaming, web, mobile, back-end, front-end, data, and DevOps.
- Experience in gaming/B2C startups is a significant advantage.
- High standards for code quality, testing, and performance.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, passionate about empowering team members.
