As a Backend Developer at Beamr, you'll be a key player in building our awesome products. We're on the lookout for an independent and motivated developer who not only codes efficiently but also factors in development costs, anticipates critical architectural changes, and has a good knowledge of  developing in cloud services. In this role, you'll design, implement and optimize scalable backend cloud systems, ensuring seamless integration with our business goals.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-quality applications and features for our Beamr Cloud platform, from the architecture through development to deployment in production
• Design and develop the data and interaction models for the complex data management scenarios
• Develop API interfaces to our high-performance video processing environments
• Design and maintain CI/CD, testing, and monitoring processes
• Design and develop integrations of Beamr Cloud with multiple cloud platforms and services

Requirements

• 5+ years of backend development experience building distributed scalable systems
• Proven experience and strong understanding of Python and Node.js
• Deep knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases
• Deep knowledge of AWS Cloud Services
• Experience with containerized services and applications
• Experience with API design and development
• Great collaboration and communication skills, high levels of responsibility and independency
