Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven undergraduate student to join our team as a Business Intelligence Analyst Student. In this role, you will work closely with our IT and HR teams to analyze systems and business needs, and build SQL databases for BI platforms. This role will provide valuable hands-on experience in data analysis and database management within a dynamic business environment.

Job Requirements

• Collaborate with team members to understand business requirements and system functionalities
• Analyze existing data structures and identify opportunities for improvement
• Design and develop SQL databases to support BI platforms and reporting tools
• Perform data cleansing, transformation, and validation to ensure accuracy and consistency
• Write complex SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and aggregate data for reporting purposes
• Create and maintain documentation for database schemas, data dictionaries, and processes
• Assist in troubleshooting database issues and optimizing query performance
• Communicate effectively with team members to provide updates on project status and collaborate on solutions
• Experience working with API for systems integration

Skills and Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or related field
• Strong understanding of relational database concepts and SQL programming
• Proficiency in database design and data modeling techniques
• Familiarity with BI platforms such as Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView is a plus
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment
• Good communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies
• Prior project experience in data analysis or database management is advantageous
