Description

SodaStream is seeking a skilled E-commerce Application Specialist with a focus on the Shopify platform to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for enhancing our e-commerce processes, including supporting process design, reviewing development requirements, and collaborating with developers on various aspects such as backend, frontend, and integrations.

This role involves hands-on involvement in setting up applications, leading projects, and ensuring successful testing and deployment of new features and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop comprehensive functional and technical specifications for system enhancements or new features.
• Ensure all documentation aligns with project objectives and requirements.
• Engage with end-users and stakeholders to accurately gather and understand business requirements.
• Analyze existing systems for improvement opportunities and insights.
• Translate stakeholder business needs into technical functional specifications.
• Facilitate implementation of new features by collaborating with programmers and team members.
• Apply analytical skills to assess complex systems and propose effective solutions.
• Identify risks and strategize mitigation to ensure project success.
  
  

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in IT projects involving development, customer-facing, and e-commerce platforms.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications in e-commerce platforms and technologies are a plus.
• Hands-on experience with integration, configuration, and testing.
• Knowledge of technologies such as Shopify, Magento, SQL, API, PHP, Java,HTML, CSS, database design, and ERD design.
• Strong project leadership capabilities.
