Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Candidates will typically have 8 years of experience in software development, and with data structures/algorithms.
- Typically 5 years of experience testing, and launching software products, and 3 years of experience designing and architecting modern enterprise production systems for enterprise customers.
- Experience working with cloud services and solutions, designing enterprise production systems running on these systems.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience designing and working with Enterprise Mainframe applications and technology, including Mainframe and iSeries architecture, COBOL, JCL, Cics, RPG, DB2, IMS and other MF technologies.
- Experience in modernization production enterprise Mainframe applications.
- Experience developing low level network solutions such as a transparent proxy and network interceptors.
- Experience working with compilers, parser and code conversion technologies.
- Experience using hadoop and MapReduce based solutions.

Responsibilities
- Work on products used by Google Cloud's customers for modernization of their business critical applications.
- Work in a team located in Tel Aviv as well as multiple other countries and with customers/partners all around the world.
- Be responsible for understanding the needs/requirements of those customers from product management, translating them to architecture/design, implementing them and following up to production and adoption.
