About the position

You will work on Dataloop’s core technology, developing, designing, and implementing the comapny’s data management system’s next generation, delivering products and features focusing on high scale, high volume, durability, efficiency, and near zero response time.

Required Technical skills

• 6+ years aggregated experience as a Software Engineer using Node.js/TS as your full-time job.
• In-depth Knowledge on database architectures and technologies.
• Experience building large-scale applications.
• Willingness to get your hands dirty, understand a new problem deeply, and building new things from scratch.
• 4+ years experience with SQL/NoSQL DB’s, at least one such as MongoDB, Cassandra, PostgreSQL, MySQl, MariaDB, Singlestore, etc…
• Experience building search capabilities and solutions over big volumes of data
• Experience in authoring and optimizing database queries.
• Experience in building Restful API servers.
• Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or similar disciplines (advantage).

• Experience in MongoDB and/or Singlestore (perviously known as memsql)
• Experience in Pub/Sub or queuing systems such as RabbitMQ/Kafka/Red panda …..

• Experience working with cloud compute and storage Providers (AWS, GCP, etc… )
• Experience in cloud data warehouse such as snowflake, Firebolt, etc …
• Relevant
