Senior Backend Developer

We are looking for a Senior Backend (Cloud) Developer to join CYMOTIVE. This influential position will allow you to take an active role in shaping CYMOTIVE’s CyClarity Solution for automated security testing and penetration testing for both in-vehicle and cloud components.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain backend for cloud-based security testing and remote test execution.
• Provide valuable feedback on system architecture, implementing necessary design changes.
• Utilize Python, AWS, CDK, BitBucket Pipelines.
• Prioritize reliability, scalability, and traceability based on deep expertise.
• Drive full productization, designing licensing and obfuscation mechanisms.
• Address scale and performance challenges.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of backend development and 3+ years of Python experience.
• Strong AWS expertise, including Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, Route 53, Batch, SQS, SNS, Cognito, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, CloudFormation, Secrets Manager, ECS, ECR, EC2, Fargate, IoT Core, CloudFront, API Gateway, WAF, ELB.
• Proficient in serverless and cybersecurity best practices.
• Systems thinking, design skills, and familiarity with containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Advantageous: IoT company experience.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and multitasking abilities.
• Exposure to IaC and CI/CD platforms (e.g., AWS CDK, Terraform, Jenkins, CircleCI).
