Job Summary

Your opportunity

As a Spot By NetApp Technical Support Engineer, you will be instrumental in guiding our customers on how to best leverage the Spot by NetApp suite of products.

You will be a key global tech support team member and act as a trusted advisor to our highly technical end users.

Our team is passionate about cloud computing and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success.

You will research, replicate, and resolve technical issues via your ingenuity, intuition, insight, and intensity.

Who will you be assisting?

This is not your typical support role. You will be speaking with DevOps and Cloud experts. We look to hire people that have walked the walk and talked the talk.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or industrial and management, or anything equivalent
  • At least 1 years of experience as Technical Support (2nd/ 3tr tier) or similar, preferably in global B2B-focused SaaS
  • Solid written, verbal, interpersonal communication, and customer service skills are needed to work successfully with customers in high-stress and/or ambiguous situations.
  • Aptitude for learning new technologies and understanding how to utilize them in a customer-facing environment.
  • Ability to follow standard engineering principles and practices.
  • Creative approach to problem solving.
  • Perform complex research, analysis, and troubleshooting and resolve critical problems over sustained time durations logically.
  • Willingness to go the extra mile to get the job done within SLAs and customer commitments
  • Would be great if you had
  • Experience with at least one Cloud provided (AWS, GCP, Azure)
  • Familiarity with Containers technologies
