Join our dynamic R&D Team as a key player reporting to the engineering manager.

This role (70% engineering, 30% research) seeks a backend ninja with a founder mindset, passionate about app security and web vulnerabilities.

Responsibilities:

• Optimize existing attacks for high performance and accuracy
• Enhance backend components and recovery mechanisms
• Develop new attacks to detect harmful vulnerabilities
• Implement unit, integration, and E2E testing for code
• Directly impact business value as a core team member

Tech Stack:

• Core engine: Crystal
• Microservices: GoLang, NodeJs (Typescript)
• Technologies: AWS, CI/CD, PostgreSQL/ NoSql, Git, Docker

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years BE development, 1 year in a senior role
• Fluent English
• Strong OOP, design patterns, algorithms knowledge
• Experience with software testing, TDD a bonus
• Deep understanding of concurrent programming and web concepts
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like GitHub actions / Jenkins
• Bonus: App security experience, OWASP top 10 familiarity

Nice to Have Experience in:

• Docker, k8s, configuration management tools
• Continuous delivery, DevOps practices
• Performance analysis and optimization techniques
• Cloud computing (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Browser extensions API
