Senior Back End & Integration Developer

C2A Security is a dynamic and successful startup. We seek an experienced and highly skilled Senior Backend & Integration Developer to join our innovative software development team.

As a crucial team member, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and architecting high-performance, scalable, and maintainable Node.js applications. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the technical direction of our projects and driving engineering excellence across the organization. This is a challenging and rewarding position where you will be expected to understand, stay connected, and contribute to the company's business needs to create an impactful product that makes a difference in the automotive industry.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Hands-on development, building challenging E2E backend production components, infrastructure, and core functionalities using Node.js
• Ensure the seamless integration of the systems and projects by applying various APIs
• Take a lead in creating complex database queries, ensuring smooth functionality
• Optimize the performance and scalability of Node.js applications, identifying bottlenecks and implementing solutions for improved efficiency
• Enforce best practices for code quality, code reviews, and codebase maintenance to ensure the delivery of high-quality, well-tested software
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including product managers and other developers, to drive successful project outcomes
• Mentor junior developers, providing guidance and fostering their growth as Node.js engineers
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Node.js and related technologies, identify areas of improvement in development processes, tools, and methodologies, and drive initiatives to enhance efficiency and productivity

This is a hybrid position (2 days a week from the office) - negotiable, with high pay and benefits.

What You Need for The Role:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in developing E2E Node.js applications with a high level of autonomy
• Strong proficiency in Node.js, JavaScript, and related frameworks (e.g., Express.js) is essential
• Proven experience in architecting and designing scalable, distributed systems
• Extensive experience integrating with external systems through RESTful APIs is a plus
• Strong proficiency in PostgreSQL and its integration with Node.js applications
• Experience with deployment (Kubernetes), CI/CD pipelines, and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker) for efficient application deployment
• Expertise with Cloud services, preferably AWS and Azure
• Experience implementing Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions is a plus
• Proven experience in writing unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests for Node.js applications
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify and resolve complex technical challenges
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a track record of successfully working in a team-oriented, Agile development environment
