At Sight Diagnostics, we are revolutionizing how blood diagnostics is done using computer vision and AI. Sight OLO, our machine-vision based CBC analyzer only needs two drops of blood to give you a full diagnostic answer where and when you need it. With hundreds of devices in the field, we are taking the next step on our journey to execute our vision of a complete Digitized Blood Diagnostics ecosystem.

In your role as a Senior Algorithm Developer you will:

• Design, improve, and implement algorithms for image acquisition and calibration of Sight’s blood-scanning microscope.
• Analyze the optical characteristics of a multidisciplinary optical system that includes multi-spectral illumination, imaging, and sensors.
• Be a part of the design of new generations systems, suggest algorithmic and optical ideas and solutions to optimize sight’s products
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including biologists, physicists, SW, HW and mechanical engineers.
• Design experiments and data collection, perform the experiments and analyze the results.
• Analyze medical images, and find root causes for image degradations and artifacts.
• Take responsibility for technical tasks from start to end. From research stage to implementation and field operation.
• Write technical reports and presentations.
• Report to Imaging algorithm team leader.

REQUIREMENTS

• 5+ years experience with algorithm development and optical systems in the industry or academia.
• MSc/PhD - Physics \ Mathematics \ Computer science \ Engineering or other related field.
• Demonstrated experience in implementing and optimizing computer vision and image processing algorithms.
• Solid understanding of optical characteristics of imaging systems, and their impact on image quality and performance. Acquaintance with image resolution factors and how to measure them.
• Strong programming skills in Python / Matlab.
• Experience in multidisciplinary products with optics, mechanics and HW - An advantage .
• Experience in medical devices company - an advantage.
• Experience working with optical setups & imaging systems. Microscopy - an advantage.
