Responsibilities
Microsoft defender for Endpoint group is building an
industry leading security product that is deployed in tens of millions of devices: Windows, Windows Server, macOS and all common Linux enterprise distributions. The group puts an emphasis on top-notch engineering and quality to deliver innovative sensors and a highly scalable and stable cloud platform.
You will be leading an engineering team within the Microsoft Defender for Endpoint group, responsible of building innovative solutions for prevention, detection, remediation, scale and attack disruption. You will be responsible on the entire group infrastructure, resources and engineering experience and efficiency in this DevOps oriented group. You'll be accountable the entire group operational effectiveness at scale, leading a large team of engineers building tools and automations for scalable, reliable, compliant and secured product.
Expected to be +20% Hands-On.
Qualifications
- B.Sc./M.Sc in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent.
- 5+ years of people management in Engineering/DevOps teams: recruiting, technical leadership and mentorship, personal development, team building, vision, and roadmap creation. Leading a team of 8+ engineers and/or DepOps experts.
- 8+ years of software development experience, including deep knowledge in infrastructures, resources, and underlying technologies and industry standards (Azure/AWS, K8s, Auth&AuthZ, etc.).
- Lead complex designs, implement with quality and scale, mentor engineers.
