Job Description

Intel RealSense is a leading innovator in the field of depth cameras, committed to pushing the boundaries of technology to create immersive and cutting-edge experiences. We are seeking for a highly skilled and motivated Firmware Software Engineering Manager to join our team and lead the development of our firmware and embedded team.What will you do?As a team lead, you will be part of our SW group, managing a team of six firmware engineers, responsible for our ASIC and SoC e2e embedded side SW development and integration, designing and delivering our 3D cameras depth firmware, as well as programming real-time on-chip depth processing flows. No worries--you will be carrying a good mixture of hands-on technical work and managerial responsibilities: you will design, develop, review, and contribute directly to our code base, as well as work with your team to optimize and maximize individuals' and team's deliverables.Our SW runs on top of AMR 3D Stereo depth cameras and integrates with our open-source SDK libraries. We build our cameras from scratch, and hence you will have the opportunity to join our 3D depth firmware team that works closely with our Research and Development' system architects, hardware designers, algorithm and validation teams to develop and deliver an end-to-end software solutions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. - 5+ years strong leadership and team management skills with a track record of successfully delivering complex firmware projects. - 7+ proven experience in firmware development, with a focus on depth cameras or related imaging technologies. - Proficient in programming languages such as C and C++, with a deep understanding of embedded systems. - Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS) and version control systems. - Familiarity with depth camera technologies, computer vision, and image processing. Must have soft skills: - We work with multiple teams in Israel and abroad--collaboration and team-player are must haves. - Clear and concise communication.

Working Model

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
