This is a full-time role for a Cobol Programmer. The Cobol Programmer will develop, test, and maintain software programs using Cobol. The role is in Petah Tikva but some work from home is acceptable. The Cobol Programmer will collaborate with other developers and project managers to ensure that software solutions are delivered on time, according to specifications, and within budget.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills and ability to troubleshoot and debug code
• Proficient in Cobol programming language and experience developing software using Cobol MF/AS400
• Knowledge of mainframe systems and experience working in a mainframe environment
• Experience writing SQL queries for DB2 processing
• Familiarity with systems analysis and ability to gather and analyze user requirements
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Experience working with financial systems or in the financial industry is a plus
